Jeannine Sargent - Operating Partner

Jeannine is a dynamic leader with over 30 years of experience innovating and building technology companies in emerging markets across multiple industries, geographies, and business cycles.

Her focus is on sustainability, the energy transition, and AI-enabled systems that improve business productivity and human outcomes with thoughtful introduction of new technologies to support the growth of resilient businesses that will have a positive climate-led impact.

Jeannine currently serves on the boards of Synopsys (NASDAQ: SNPS) and Fortive (NYSE: FTV) and is a Trustee of Northeastern University.

Jeannine has scaled private and public companies; and was co-founder and CEO of two companies: Voyan Technology, a communications and advanced process controls software company; and Oerlikon Solar, a thin-film solar cell and module manufacturer.

Previously Jeannine was President at Flex (NASDAQ: FLEX) where she launched the Energy business in 2012 and grew it to $4B in less than 5 years,  with customers ranging from start-ups to large-cap industrials including SunPower, SunEdison, Enphase Energy, SolarEdge, SMA, Canadian Solar, ABB, and Schneider Electric.  As President of Innovation and New Ventures,, she led 40 global design centers across four continents with 15,0000 engineers serving automotive, consumer, enterprise infrastructure, industrial and medical markets.  Customers included category leaders such as Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Facebook, Cisco, Daimler, Ford, GE, Stryker, and Medtronics.

In addition to her board and advisor/investor work, she enjoys mentoring and learning from CEOs and entrepreneurs.
Jeannine holds a BS in Chemical Engineering, magna cum laude, from Northeastern University and has completed executive education programs at MIT, Stanford, Harvard, and Carnegie Mellon Universities.
