As an investor at G2 Venture Partners, Charlie brings a unique perspective in identifying and supporting exceptional entrepreneurs who are disrupting traditional industries by applying new technologies in a novel, sustainable way. He led investments for Smarter Sorting, and Crusoe Energy.
Prior to joining G2, Charlie was on the pricing strategy team at Salesforce where he advised senior product leaders on holistic pricing strategies. Prior to Salesforce, Charlie spent three years as part of Morgan Stanley’s Technology Investment Banking group where he advised and worked with entrepreneurs going through career-defining IPO and M&A transactions. Charlie began his career as a Production Engineer at Shell, where he experienced the fracking boom first-hand while occasionally wearing steel-toed boots. Charlie also spent time as part of the Boston Consulting Group’s energy practice where he worked on an unconventional energy strategy for the US, in partnership with Michael Porter and Harvard Business School.
In his spare time, Charlie actively supports startups disrupting traditional industries and gets immense energy from helping entrepreneurs succeed.
Charlie holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from MIT, and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
